This stunning Strat is all original aside from a pro refret. The body has a pencil date from 9-54 and the neck is dated 3-55 with Tadeo Gomez' famed "TG" initial. There is a mix of 54/55 pots. The rear of the headstock near the low E tuner has a small surface crack- allegedly there since delivery to the original owner in 1955. Original owner from 1955-1957 was Leon Lancto- a county and western musician in upstate New York. One of the earliest Strats shipped to NY. The combination of the lightweight Ash body, big Maple neck, and hardtail bridge make this Strat incredibly resonant and the 3 original pickups are strong and full sounding.
