1957 Gibson J-185 Sunburst Owned by Dan Auerbach

This J-185 came to us from Dan Auerbach's collection. It has been played on countless recordings of his and includes a letter from Dan. Besides that, it's a fantastic example of one of Gibson's most unique flattops. It has a very loud and dry tone and the neck is the ideal 50s profile. The guitar is well worn and checked but has no breaks. The neck has been reset and it has been refretted. There is an added K&K Pure Mini pickup and a 1/4" jack installed on the treble side rim.
