1964 Gibson ES-335TD Sunburst

We've got an amazing Gibson guitar from their golden era of manufacturing. 1964 has become one of the most desired years for Gibson guitars and this one is no short of an example of that. A couple notes, this guitar was acquired from its original owner who gave us firsthand information about what can be seen. All of the hardware including the tuners were replaced in 1968 with gold parts and the tuners with gold Grovers. The nut has also been replaced and appears to have a first fret inlay added. Further, it appears to have had a repair below where the neck meets the body as can be seen in the pictures. The neck itself is 100% in tact with no other repairs made to the guitar. And on a sonic note, these original patent numbers sound absolutely incredible. They truly have all the PAF magic that players have come to recognize in the post-PAF era of Patent Number pickups. This guitar is also a factory stop tail. The neck is slim and feels incredibly comfortable with a wide nut and is very fast. Further, if you are a fan of Eric Clapton, this guitar is only 162 numbers away from his Cherry 335! Erics is 67473 and this 335 is 67635.
