1965 Fender Stratocaster Ocean Turquoise

This 1965 Stratocaster is a perfect example of one of Fender's rarest and most stunning custom colors. It has everything you want to see- a stunning original finish with clean, unpainted original nail holes, a clean paint stick shadow in the neck pocket, and perfectly yellowed lacquer with pristine un-yellowed Ocean Turquoise under the guard. The original vibrant blue Ocean Turquoise peeks through areas where the clear coat has rubbed off, making this guitar really blue in some lights and more green-ish in others. Aside from a professional refret, this guitar is in 100% original condition and has features standard for a late-'65 including a 3-ply white pickguard, pearl dot inlays, transitional logo, grey bottom pickups, and a very comfortable C shape neck.
