1966 Guild Starfire Bass Black

This 1966 Guild Starfire Bass has been refinished in sleek black, with some cool wear on the neck and body that reveals the mahogany underneath the finish, adding to its character. The neck has been planed and the bass has been refretted with larger wire, making it a real joy to play. It still retains the original Guild anti-hum pickup, delivering that signature Guild thump.

Currently strung with flatwound strings, it offers a smooth, thumping low end and excellent resonance. The bass does have some signs of use, including the missing original hand rests and a repair around the input jack, but it’s in solid playing condition.
