Tech Notes: This 1964 Stratocaster is a true time capsule- sporting a super clean original Candy Apple Red finish and a WILD birdseye Maple neck. This is a truly stunning example of a pre-CBS custom color Strat and is all original save for a very tidy refret. The original black bottom pickups are sweet and clear and the August ‘64-dated neck has a sublime medium C shape that these ‘64s are famous for. We have never seen such intense Birdseye figuring on the neck of a Strat from this era- it’s absolutely a work of art. Comes with the original blonde tolex hard case.
